Virginia Chimney & Roofing employs excellent customer service and roofing and chimney solutions that actually work. Tony, the Operations Manager, is exceptionally helpful in diagnosing chimney water leaks and providing helpful suggestions to remedy a solution. He is honest and pleasant in providing solutions that have actually worked successfully with other customers. I had a stone chimney leak that was difficult to diagnose but Tony was able to provide suggestions that fixed my leak. I would definitely trust Virginia Chimney & Roofing for any repairs that require professionalism, honesty and solutions that work. They are a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.

Dennis and his team are great to work with! We had a leaky chimney and Dennis came out personally for a free inspection and estimate. They quickly identified the issue and fixed all of our flashing for a very reasonable price. The team also didn’t collect payment until a few rains had occurred to ensure there were no lingering leaks. We definitely appreciated this commitment to customer satisfaction. A few months after our chimney repair, we had a branch fall into our utility shed and puncture a hole in the roofing. Dennis came out the next day to patch the hole in prep for a permanent fix once the weather warms up. If you are in need of chimney or roofing work, I highly recommend giving VA Chimney and Roofing a call.

I had them remove old throat dampers from two chimneys, install new top dampers on both, and install new fireplace doors on one. Outstanding work, they got the job scheduled fast, they worked fast, we're very happy with the results, and their price was reasonable. Highly recommend. We will go back to them next time we need chimney work done.

Dennis and his crew went way, WAY beyond what any other contractor would do - in terms of help, and advice, and intercession (our insurance dug in their heals!) and finally with the actual repair work. They really went the extra mile, and then some!

This company, owner Dennis & Tony & their technician went BEYOND what one has come to expect from a business. I had paid one company to re-start my gas fireplace (pilot light needed its filter cleaned) & as part of their service call fee, they also "inspected" my two chimneys (gas & wood), and found them in need of $9,000 worth of repairs - before I should even use either fireplace again, going so far as to turn off the gas supply. Facing that large repair cost, I felt a second opinion was warranted. VA Chimney came out and inspected at NO COST, finding BOTH chimneys to be fine. I had also arranged & paid for a third inspection and that company found that only my gas fireplace chimney required repairs costing $4,300. Now really - who do you believe? I called Dennis back, explained my dilemma of conflicting opinions. He offered to return on a Saturday and re-inspect, again at no cost. Using their camera set-up, Tony and Dennis showed me what they saw, explained what they saw and why my chimneys were fine, the differences on chimney maintenance with gas or wood usage. I showed Dennis and Tony the "photos" I'd received from one company with their $4300 estimate. They patiently answered my questions about the other two companies' plans for repairs - a complete flue removal and firebox rebuild, or use of a flue coating called HeatShield,++. Please note that all three companies used a digital camera set-up for their inspections as well as visual. Bottomline - As I have come to learn, the other two firms have a reputation for unethical business practices. The average homeowner would not have the knowledge to question a "professional chimney inspector" - I could have believed the first company and even the third. But when a business, like VA Chimney, serves clientele without gaining a cent in revenue but is doing the right thing, you know that any other work they might do for you - roofing, chimneys, gutters, masonry - you know they are trustworthy and deserve your business. Hire them, hire VA Chimney & Roofing Services..

Can’t say enough about our positive experience here. Everyone we spoke to was incredibly helpful, prompt, and wanted to go above and beyond for their customers. We had our chimney swept and inspected and not only did they do a great job with the work itself, but they were incredibly generous in giving us tips on how to keep our fireplace in the best condition moving forward.
